Why Flutter over React Native?
Both are great. We prefer Flutter for new apps because: (a) better default performance, (b) more consistent UI across platforms, (c) Dart's type safety catches more bugs, (d) hot reload is faster. React Native is right when your team already lives in JavaScript.
Can Flutter handle complex apps with payments, video, maps?
Yes. We've built ecommerce, video calling, GPS tracking, payment-heavy apps in Flutter. Maturity is past the doubt phase.
How much does a Flutter app cost?

What is Shoproids?
Shoproids is a ready-made ecommerce platform built by Approids Technologies, sold to multiple clients. It includes a customer-facing web storefront, a native Flutter mobile app for Android and iOS, and a full admin panel covering catalog, sales, customers, and configuration. It is production-tested, not a tutorial template.
How is Shoproids different from Shopify?
Shopify is a global hosted SaaS with monthly fees per store and transaction fees. Shoproids is a one-time-setup + lower monthly model, fully self-hosted or hosted by Approids, with source-code-level customization available. It is also Razorpay + Cashfree + COD + GST-first — built for the Indian market. Shopify is right if you need a global platform; Shoproids is right if you want a custom-feel store at a fraction of long-term cost.
Do I get source code with Shoproids?
On the Growth and Enterprise tiers, source code can be licensed to you. Starter is a managed deployment. We can discuss source-code terms during the quote process.
Is the Flutter app published under my Play Store account?
Yes — your Play Store and App Store developer accounts in your company name, your app, your branding. Approids submits on your behalf.
How much customization is possible?
Almost anything. Custom payment gateways, ERP/Tally integration, multi-vendor marketplace, multi-warehouse fulfillment, custom shipping carriers (Delhivery, Shiprocket, Bluedart, Ekart), loyalty programs, subscription billing, B2B pricing tiers, custom checkout flows. We quote these as add-ons.
How long does it take to launch a Shoproids store?
A Starter store with your branding and initial products goes live in 7–14 days. A Growth store with Flutter app and customizations typically takes 3–5 weeks. Enterprise builds are scope-quoted.
What payment gateways are supported?
Razorpay and Cashfree out of the box (covering UPI, cards, wallets, EMI, net banking). Cash on Delivery is built-in. Stripe, PayU, PhonePe, and custom gateways can be added at additional cost.
Is Shoproids GST-compliant?
Yes. GSTIN-aware tax calculation, HSN codes, place-of-supply logic for inter-state vs intra-state, and proper GST invoice PDF generation are included.
Who handles hosting and updates?
On Starter, Approids manages hosting on our infrastructure. On Growth, hosting can be on Approids or your own AWS / Hostinger VPS. Enterprise gets dedicated infra with SLA. Platform updates and security patches are included on all monthly support plans.
Can I migrate from my existing platform (WooCommerce, Magento, custom)?
Yes. Product, customer, and order migration is a common customization. We map old URLs to new ones with 301 redirects so SEO is preserved.
Does Shoproids work for grocery, fashion, electronics, multi-category stores?
Yes. The platform is category-agnostic. Active deployments span groceries, FMCG, fashion, accessories, and general merchandise. Multi-category stores with deep nested categories are supported.

What is Mediroids?
Mediroids is Approids' web-based hospital management system that digitizes every operation of a hospital or clinic in India: OPD, IPD, billing, insurance/TPA/Ayushman, diagnostics, staff payroll, and reports. Built on Laravel 11, sold as a one-time-setup product with annual support.
Is Mediroids suitable for small clinics or only big hospitals?
Both. The Starter tier (OPD + Billing) works for single-doctor clinics. The Standard tier adds IPD + bed management for mid-size hospitals. Professional adds insurance/TPA/Ayushman. Enterprise adds Diagnostics, Expenses, and WhatsApp for multi-specialty centers. Hospitals start at any tier and upgrade as they grow — no code changes needed, just a configuration update.
Does it support Ayushman Bharat and TPA workflows?
Yes — Ayushman Bharat support is first-class on the Professional tier. Procedure package master with package codes and rates, pre-authorization workflow, direct linking during admission. TPA workflows include full claim lifecycle (Draft → Pre-Auth Requested → Approved → Submitted → Settled → Closed), UTR tracking, settlement modes (NEFT/Cheque/UPI), disallowed amount handling, and patient co-pay calculation.
Is each hospital's data isolated?
Yes — Mediroids uses a dedicated-VPS-per-hospital model, NOT shared multi-tenancy. Each hospital gets its own server and own database. No hospital can access another hospital's data, ever. This also means independent updates, backups, and scaling per hospital.
Can I start with only OPD and add more modules later?
Yes — that's the modular design. Begin with Patient + OPD + Billing on the Starter tier. Add IPD when you open wards. Add Insurance/TPA when you start accepting TPA patients. Add Diagnostics when you start a lab. Each upgrade is a configuration change, not a re-implementation.
What printers does Mediroids support?
All standard A4 printers (for bills, discharge summaries, payslips, reports) and thermal 80mm printers (for OPD receipts, walk-in receipts, small bills). Uses DomPDF on the backend to generate PDFs, so anything that prints PDF works.
Do I own the source code?
On Enterprise tier, source code can be licensed to the hospital. Starter, Standard, and Professional tiers ship as managed deployments on hospital-owned VPS with Approids handling code updates. Hospital always owns its own database, its own server, its own data. We can discuss source-code terms during the quote.
What hosting do I need?
A small VPS — 2 vCPU + 4 GB RAM + 50 GB SSD is enough for a clinic with up to 100 OPD visits/day. Mid-size hospitals use 4 vCPU + 8 GB RAM. Approids handles VPS setup on Hostinger / DigitalOcean / AWS — billed in the hospital's name. The system is server-rendered (Laravel + Blade) so it works fast even on slow internet and basic client PCs.
How long to deploy a Mediroids installation?
Starter (OPD + Billing) goes live in 7–10 days including training. Standard with IPD takes 2–3 weeks. Professional with insurance configuration takes 3–4 weeks. Enterprise scope-quoted with specific deployment plan.
How is Mediroids different from Practo, Eka.care, MediXcel, or other HMS?
Three things: (1) Dedicated server per hospital — your data is not in a shared multi-tenant SaaS. (2) Built for Indian workflows — Ayushman Bharat, TPA, UPI, Indian fiscal-year billing, GST, Aadhaar handling — not adapted from a Western system. Is patient data secure and compliant?
Yes. HTTPS/SSL everywhere, encrypted Aadhaar and PAN at rest, complete audit log of every action (who did what, when, from which IP, with old and new values), role-based access so staff see only what they need, on-demand database backups. Dedicated-VPS model means no third-party can access data. ABDM / Health ID / HFR integration available as Enterprise customization for hospitals that need NDHM compliance.

What is Trustroids?
Trustroids is Approids' management software for NGOs, trusts, foundations, and charitable organisations in India. It combines a multi-role back-office admin (members, donations, certificates, crowd-funding, projects, transactions, reports) with a built-in CMS that powers the NGO's public donor-facing website. Built on PHP / CodeIgniter 3 with MySQL, sold as a self-hosted product on a dedicated server per NGO. Three NGOs run on it today: Lord Buddha Foundation, Danveer Foundation, and Atal Foundation.
How is Trustroids different from WordPress + a donation plugin?
A WordPress + plugin stack gives you only a public website with a donation form — you still need separate tools (spreadsheets, Excel, generic accounting) to track members, certificates, projects, and reports. Trustroids gives you the public website AND the back-office in one system. Online donations from the public form land directly in the back-office Donations module with an auto 80G receipt email. Volunteer applications auto-convert to Member records on approval. Certificates print with QR codes that the public can verify on your own domain. No copy-paste, no re-entry, no plugin compatibility issues.
Does Trustroids generate 80G / 12A tax-deduction receipts?
Yes — built in. Every donation auto-generates a receipt with format RCPT-YYYY-XXXXX and emails it to the donor as an HTML 80G receipt. Your NGO's registration numbers, donor PAN, and amount details appear on every receipt. Bulk PDF generation for financial year-end is supported. No third-party plugin needed.
How do QR-verified certificates work?
Every certificate Trustroids issues (membership or activity / volunteer participation) embeds a QR code. The QR encodes a public URL on your domain like /verify/{cert_no}. Anyone — donor, employer, university, government office — can scan the code and see the certificate is genuine, who it was issued to, and when. Prevents forgery and adds credibility your printed receipts don't have.
What payment gateway is supported?
Cashfree is built in for online donations on the public site (UPI, cards, net banking, wallets). Offline modes (Cash, Cheque, UPI manual, Bank Transfer) are entered in the admin. Razorpay / PayU / Stripe can be added on Enterprise tier or as a customization.
Can donors and visitors apply to become members or volunteers from the website?
Yes. Public application forms capture volunteer or member applications and land in the Applications module of the admin. Approve in one click and the application auto-converts to a Member record (with auto-generated Member ID). Reject or mark pending if you need to follow up.
How granular is the role-based access?
Three roles: Admin (full access), Manager (sub-admin with feature-level toggles like can_approve_members, can_approve_donations, can_manage_projects — so you can hand specific responsibilities to specific people), and Member (logged-in member-only views). Per-module permissions on top of that.
Can our existing website be replaced by Trustroids?
Yes. We migrate your existing pages, photos, team, and projects into the Trustroids Website CMS, redesign the front-end to match your branding, and connect it to the back-office admin. You keep your domain and SEO, and you gain the ability to update content, run campaigns, and accept online donations without a developer.
Is donor data secure?
HTTPS/SSL everywhere, role-based access so staff see only what they need, on-demand database backups from the admin, complete audit-friendly transactions ledger, and dedicated-hosting-per-NGO so your data is never in a shared multi-tenant database. We can add encryption-at-rest for sensitive donor fields on request.
Can we run multiple chapters or branches on Trustroids?
Yes — multi-chapter / multi-branch setup is available on Enterprise tier. Each chapter gets its own scoped admin view (members, donations, projects), with a consolidated central dashboard for headquarters.
How long does deployment take?
Starter (admin + small public website with donations) goes live in 10–14 days. Growth with full Website CMS and active modules takes 3–4 weeks. Enterprise builds are scope-quoted.
Do we own the data and code?
You always own your data — your VPS, your database. On Enterprise tier, source code can be licensed to your NGO. On other tiers, code is deployed on your server with Approids handling updates and support. We can discuss source-code terms during the quote.
What hosting do we need?
Any LAMP / WAMP server works — even cPanel shared hosting. For real workloads we recommend a small VPS (2 vCPU + 4 GB RAM + 50 GB SSD). Approids sets up hosting on Hostinger / DigitalOcean / AWS in your NGO's name. The system is server-rendered (PHP / CodeIgniter) so it works well even on slow connections and basic hardware.
Is there a live example we can see?
Yes — three NGOs run on Trustroids today: Lord Buddha Foundation (https://www.lordbuddhafoundation.com), Danveer Foundation (https://www.danveerfoundation.com), and Atal Foundation (https://atalfoundations.in). The public websites and back-office admins you see are the same Trustroids product, configured for each NGO's branding and focus area.

What is Eduroids?
Eduroids is Approids' complete school management platform: a public website with built-in CMS, an admin panel for office staff, and Flutter mobile apps for students, teachers, and parents — all sharing one database. Built on CodeIgniter 4 (PHP 8) backend with a JWT-secured REST API powering the apps. Sold as a self-hosted product on shared hosting or a VPS, configured per school.
Who is Eduroids for?
Indian schools that want one connected system instead of five disconnected tools. CBSE, ICSE, state-board, and private K-12 schools. Works for single-campus schools from ~100 students up to multi-campus groups with thousands of students. The Starter tier suits small schools; Growth fits mid-size CBSE schools; Enterprise covers multi-campus chains.
How is it different from generic school software like Edumarshal, Fedena, or MyClassCampus?
Three things: (1) The public school website is INSIDE the same admin — most competitors are admin-only and your website is a separate WordPress site you still have to maintain. (2) Flutter mobile apps are first-class (Student / Teacher / Parent) with offline attendance, push notifications, and Razorpay fee payment — not bolt-ons. Can parents pay fees online?
Yes. Razorpay is integrated. Parents pay in 2 taps from the Parent app, and the PDF receipt auto-downloads instantly. Admin sees the payment in the dashboard in real time. UPI, cards, net banking, and wallets are all supported. Defaulter reports list parents with pending dues.
Does Eduroids generate PDF report cards automatically?
Yes. Teachers enter marks once per exam. PDF report cards generate automatically per student with the school's branding, marks, grades, attendance %, and remarks. Parents and students download from the app; office can print in bulk.
Does the mobile app work offline?
Teacher attendance marking is fully offline — mark the class without internet and it syncs when back online. Students and parents can view cached timetables, notices, and report cards offline; pay-fees and post-homework require internet.
Is it CBSE-ready?
Yes. Mandatory disclosure page, transfer certificate generation, fee structure page, academic programs (Pre-Primary through Senior), results, calendar, rules — all out-of-the-box pages with CBSE-compliant layouts. State-board and ICSE schools can adapt the same templates.
How do parents with multiple children use the app?
One parent account, one login. The Parent app has a child switcher — tap to see each child's attendance, marks, homework, and fees separately. Pay fees per child, get separate receipts per child.
Can we bulk-import our existing student database from Excel?
Yes. The admin has Excel import for students, staff, classes, and fee structures. Validation preview runs first — bad rows are highlighted and fixable in place before anything is saved. No mass data loss risk.
How long does deployment take?
Starter (admin + website + apps) goes live in 2–3 weeks including data import, branding setup, and training. Growth (full Website CMS + communication suite) takes 3–4 weeks. Enterprise is scope-quoted but typically 6–10 weeks for multi-campus rollout.
What hosting do we need?
A standard cPanel shared hosting plan works for small schools (<300 students). For mid-size schools (300–1500 students), a small VPS — 2 vCPU + 4 GB RAM + 50 GB SSD — is enough. For large or multi-campus deployments, we recommend a managed VPS / cloud. Approids handles setup on Hostinger / DigitalOcean / AWS in your school's name.
Are the mobile apps published under our school's developer account?
Yes — both Play Store and App Store apps are published under your school's developer accounts, with your school's name, logo, and branding. Approids submits on your behalf and handles the review/approval cycle. (Approids has 25+ apps published on Play Store, so we know the process.)
Is our data safe?
Role-based access (RBAC), JWT-secured API, official auth library, audit log on every important action, automated daily database and file backups. Each school runs on its own server with its own database — no shared multi-tenant database. HTTPS/SSL everywhere.
Do we own the source code?
On Enterprise tier, source code can be licensed to your school. On Starter and Growth, code is deployed on your hosting in your school's name with Approids handling updates, security patches, and support. Either way, you always own your data, your apps on Play Store / App Store, and your domain.

Why CAF-first identification?
CAF (Customer Application Form) Number is the identifier ISP customers actually quote when they call support. Older billing tools use internal numeric IDs that staff have to translate every time. Billroids uses the CAF as the primary key on every edit, search, and lookup — same number from sign-up to credit note. Removes constant context switching and cuts support call times.
How does GST work in Billroids?
The system auto-detects place of supply from the customer's state field. For intra-state customers (same state as your registered office), it applies CGST + SGST. For inter-state, IGST. Split tax components are stored on every bill row for audit. Bill IDs follow Indian financial-year format with state prefix (e.g. PP-UK-2025-1). Credit notes use a parallel CN-…-FY-… series. No manual GST switching, no per-bill workarounds.
Does Billroids handle DOT compliance reporting?
Yes — there is a dedicated DOT Details Excel export covering what India's Department of Telecom asks for in periodic reports. No manual collating from raw bill data. Standard exports also cover Bills, Sale Bills, Clients directory, Sales Report, Security Deposits, and Payments.
Can channel partners log in with scoped views?
Yes. Multi-account scoping ships out of the box. Head Office sees all data across all channel partners; each channel partner sees only their own clients, bills, and reports. One install, multiple scoped logins. Exports respect the account scope automatically.
What does the limited "user" role do?
The "user" role is built for customer-support agents who only need to look up bill copies. They see exactly two menu items — Search Service Bills and Logout — and can search by CAF / date / customer name and re-email any historical invoice. They cannot raise bills, edit clients, or touch billing data. Cuts mistakes and limits exposure.
How do credit notes link back to original bills?
Every credit note carries the Original Bill No. and Original Bill Date — printed on the PDF, stored on the database record, and labelled as columns in the bill Excel export. Reconciliation against the original invoice is a two-click job, not a manual hunt. Auditors and CAs see the trail clearly.
What SMS gateway does it use? Can we change it?
Pinnacle SMS gateway ships built-in for bill-raise and bill-cancel notifications. Alternative gateways (MSG91, TextLocal, etc.) can be swapped in as a customization — the abstraction is simple HTTP POST.
Can customers pay online or view bills via a self-service portal?
Not in the standard build today — Billroids is currently an internal back-office tool. A customer self-service portal with payment gateway hooks (Razorpay / Cashfree / PayU) is available on the Enterprise tier or as a customization.
What hosting do we need?
Any standard LAMP / WAMP host. cPanel shared hosting is enough for small ISPs (~few hundred customers). For mid-size ISPs (1,000–10,000 customers), a small VPS — 2 vCPU + 4 GB RAM + 50 GB SSD — is enough. Approids handles VPS setup on Hostinger / DigitalOcean / AWS in your company's name. No build step, no framework lock-in, no exotic dependencies.
Is the codebase modern, or is it legacy PHP?
Honest answer: it's procedural PHP — the lightest and most portable PHP style, but it does use some legacy mysql_* calls. The roadmap (and Enterprise customization) includes a migration to PDO with prepared statements, plus optional 2FA for admin accounts and a full audit log. The trade-off has been deployment simplicity: it drops onto any LAMP host and runs immediately. Customers who want the modernized stack can request it as an Enterprise customization.
Do we own the source code?
On Enterprise tier, source code can be licensed to the ISP. Starter and Growth ship as managed deployments on your hosting in your company's name, with Approids handling updates and support. You always own your data (your VPS, your MySQL database) regardless of tier.
How long does deployment take?
Starter (basic billing + GST + PDF + email) goes live in 1–2 weeks including data import. Growth (all bill modes + SMS + credit notes + multi-account scoping) takes 2–4 weeks. Enterprise builds with custom self-service portal or API integrations are scope-quoted, typically 6–10 weeks.

What is Work To Do?
Work To Do is Approids' web-based employee and workforce management software. It digitizes the day-to-day admin of an organization's HR / operations team — onboarding employees, defining department + designation + location hierarchy, running monitored work tasks (WTD), generating drill-down reports, and broadcasting notices. Built on CodeIgniter (PHP MVC) + MySQL. Originally built for a multi-location auto dealer network, now productized for any organization with structure to manage.
Who is Work To Do for?
Mid-size organizations with structure that doesn't fit a spreadsheet anymore — multi-location auto dealer networks, hospital admin (non-medical staff), manufacturing units, multi-branch retail, educational institutions (non-teaching staff), corporate offices, NGOs with operational teams. Specifically for HR teams, administrators, and managers who need a real-time view of their workforce and a way to assign monitored recurring tasks.
What is a "WTD" (Work Task Definition)?
A WTD is a recurring work item that needs to happen on a schedule — daily, weekly, or monthly — and has a monitoring designation accountable for oversight. Think: "Generator log check, daily, monitored by Maintenance Manager." Or: "Cash register reconciliation, daily, monitored by Branch Accountant." WTDs turn vague operational expectations into structured ownership. The product is named after this distinctive module.
How is Work To Do different from Asana, ClickUp, or Monday?
Asana / ClickUp / Monday are project and task-tracking tools — they assume you have projects with start and end dates. Work To Do is workforce admin first, task oversight second. It models your org structure (employees → designations → departments → locations) before any tasks, and the tasks (WTDs) are framed as recurring operational checks owned by designations, not by individual people. Better fit for operations / HR / admin teams; worse fit for product / engineering / marketing teams running discrete projects.
Does Work To Do handle attendance or payroll?
Not in the standard build today — it's focused on workforce STRUCTURE and TASK oversight, not time tracking or salary processing. Attendance, leave management, and payroll modules can be added as Enterprise customizations or integrated with existing systems via Excel / CSV import-export. For full-suite HR + payroll, look at Mediroids (which includes staff attendance and salary for hospitals); for full-suite school staff management, look at Eduroids.
Can we restrict access by role? Who can see what?
The current build uses session-based authentication with admin-level access. Role-based access control (multiple permission levels — e.g. HR can edit employees but not finance reports) is available as an Enterprise tier feature or as a customization. The roadmap calls this out explicitly.
Can we bulk-import our existing employee data?
Yes. Every module supports Excel / CSV import — departments, designations, locations, employees, WTD, reports, report details, and notices. Useful for first-time setup (load the whole org structure from your existing HR spreadsheet) and for ongoing bulk operations.
Does it have a mobile app or mobile-responsive view?
The current build is desktop-first (AdminLTE-style layout) and works on tablets. Fully responsive mobile views are on the roadmap and available as an Enterprise customization. For now, mobile access works via the browser at a reduced layout.
How does the reporting drill-down work?
Reports start with a date range. Drill into a report and you get specialized analytics: department-wise breakdown (how many employees / WTD / activities per department), location-wise (the same per office), designation-wise (per role), employee status analysis (active vs inactive trends), and WTD analysis (which monitored tasks happened, by frequency). All filterable and exportable.
